Breathe, the debut album by Through Fire, was released in 2016 and immerses the listener in the hard rock aesthetic of the early 2000s, reminiscent of bands like Trapt or 3 Doors Down. Composed of tracks with classic structures, the album alternates between catchy choruses, solid guitars, and some more metal or emo rock incursions, as seen in Breakout, Lights, or the title track Breathe. Driven by the single Stronger, the record explores a generally cohesive range, balancing rock energy with darker tones, featuring lyrics focused on pain and inner struggle. It also includes a hard rock reinterpretation of Lights by Ellie Goulding. Breathe thus establishes itself as a debut album rooted in an already well-established tradition of modern rock.
