Volume 3 is the new album by Zooey Deschanel & M. Ward. Comprising 14 songs, including 11 written by Zooey Deschanel and 3 covers, Volume 3 is a great record of sparkling and delicately sunlit pop. The album features the boldest songs Zooey has ever composed, allowing for tempo changes, disco grooves, string and brass arrangements that perfectly complement the world of She & Him. Simply titled Volume 3, this third true She & Him album produced by M. Ward features many guests: Pierre de Reeder (Rilo Kiley), Tom Hagerman (Devotchka), Joey Spampinato (NRBQ), Mike Watt... Since the release of Volume Two in 2010, Zooey Deschanel, whose TV series New Girl confirmed her status as a Hollywood star, has continued to sharpen her songwriting talent, notably earning a Grammy Awards nomination. As a duo or solo, Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward have already sold more than one million albums in the USA.
