The first album of the essential 90s band is now available in CD and deluxe CD versions via Sub Pop. Reissued in 2009 to mark its 20th anniversary, Bleach, the first album by NIRVANA, the legendary band of Kurt Cobain, will be available again on September 23. Sub Pop is now offering the opportunity to acquire the deluxe version of this record, which includes a completely unreleased live performance and special artwork. Originally recorded over three sessions with producer Jack Endino, the album was released in June 1989 and sold around 40,000 copies. However, it was only after the release of Nevermind in 1991 that the album became popular. It has since sold 1.7 million copies in the United States alone. The Deluxe edition includes the live recording of a full concert by the band at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. You can hear performances of ‘Love Buzz’, ‘About a Girl’, and ‘Molly’s Lips’, a cover of The Vaselines. The original has been remixed by Endino. The album comes with a 48-page booklet for the CD and a 16-page booklet for the LP, including previously unreleased photos of the band revealed in the 2009 edition.
