Across 12 tracks co-produced by Miso Extra herself and featuring collaborations with DJ Boring, Metronomy, AK Paul, Samo, Tyson and MICHELLE, she takes us on a journey between romantic vulnerability, evolution and self-assertion. From POP, which blends K-Pop and UK Garage influences, to the romantic lyrics and deep R&B beats of Good Kisses, through the synth-house groove of Certified and the reverb-laden 80s-tinged sounds of Ghostly, each track reflects a facet of her musical evolution."This album is a true musical catharsis," explains Miso Extra. "I express my experiences of love, alienation and emancipation while inviting others to share this journey. In the end, I become a whole new Miso.""I wanted to create an introspective pop album, filled with the songs I wish I had listened to growing up," she confides. "It's about learning from your mistakes and not being afraid to be wrong. The messages are deep, but wrapped in catchy pop - that dose of sugar that helps the medicine go down."
