Guitarist of FIVE ELEMENTS by STEVE COLEMAN, member of the groups of JONATHAN FINLAYSON and DAN WEISS, MILES OKAZAKI continues the odyssey started with Trickster (PI 68) in 2017 and continued with The Sky Below (PI 84) in 2019. The 3rd act delivered by the same quartet resembles a series of exquisite corpses, a process dear to the Surrealists, by connecting the improvisations to one another, improvisations inspired among others by a watercolor by LINDA OKAZAKI, essays on surrealism by ROBIND.G. KELLEY, architectural concepts by DAVID BRESKIN, or the poetry of SUN RA.
