A concise and effective album: with the Danes of LLNN, we navigate through darkness and enjoy playing with atmospheres. Like this devastated artwork, LLNN perfectly conveys desolation on Deads, in a science fiction ambiance (in a sort of Total Recall universe) beautifully crafted, particularly thanks to the recurring use of synths that sound like threatening brass instruments. Adding to this are unsettling noises and an incredibly heavy atmosphere, to say the least, we are clearly in suffocating territory. In this anything but cheerful ambiance, the band delivers heavy, leaden riffs, and the singer's screams amplify this sense of an impending apocalypse.
