Born in Istanbul and based in France, Lal Tuna is a singer-songwriter and producer who creates an intimate and cinematic universe, blending alternative pop, gothic country, grunge, 60s garage, with touches of folk and countrygaze. Entirely written, recorded, and produced DIY on GarageBand, her debut album brings together songs composed over several years. It explores the traces of an abusive relationship, post-traumatic stress, and rebuilding. Driven by catchy melodies and contrasting arrangements — between minimalist ballads and saturated crescendos — the album freely navigates between genres and asserts a strong sonic identity that is both accessible and unique.
