Originally scheduled for release on 18/03, the return of the most famous zombie of French electro, Kavinsky is back with a second album, called Reborn. Driven by the tracks “Renegade,” with its expansive sound and powerful chorus, and then “Zenith,” with its hushed, futuristic atmosphere, Kavinsky amplifies his sound without straying from his relentless course. From his very first track, “Testarossa Autodrive,” his success was immediate, and two singles followed. In 2007, he was chosen by Daft Punk to open their now legendary “Alive” tour. Revealed to the general public by the hit “Nightcall,” the emblematic track from the soundtrack of the film Drive, which became a worldwide success. It was in 2013 that he released his first album, Outrun. An album with a clearly eighties-inspired electro-pop sound and a concept based on the story of his character, Kavinsky, and a tribute to the video game of the same name, released in 1986.
