Three years after the release of their last album, Belgium’s greatest rock band is finally back. Few bands can boast the loyalty of an audience for more than 20 years. DEUS can count themselves among them. “KEEP YOU CLOSE”, produced by DAVE BOTTRILL (MUSE, TOOL, PLACEBO) and ADAM NOBLE (GUILLEMOTS, MUMFORD AND SONS, PAUL MCCARTNEY), is the band’s sixth album, and unquestionably their most successful. TOM BARMAN’s gravelly voice, with its raw sensitivity, is set over nine tracks of rare intensity whose quality immediately recalls the phenomenal “Ideal Crash”. Also worth noting is the valuable contribution of GREG DULLI (AFGHAN WIGS and GUTTER TWINS) on two tracks from the album: “The Dark Sets In” and “Twice”.
