« C Duncan is definitely a little master » Télérama.
The Scottish composer and multi-instrumentalist C Duncan will unveil his highly anticipated new album Alluvium on August 5 via Bella Union/[PIAS]. Three years after his last album Health (2019) - Duncan has strived to create a record guided by instinct rather than imposed themes. The album blends string arrangements, synths, and pianos with the dreamy voice of the Scottish singer - resulting in a wonderful outcome that almost borders on the soundtrack of a 70s film. Smooth and serene, dynamic and enchanting, Alluvium evolves at its own pace, a testament to an intuitive talent with spontaneous flow.
