Les Editions Saravah were created in 1966 by Pierre Barouh in order to publish “Un homme et une femme”, “Samba Saravah”… Later, he turned to publishing and producing emerging artists who would make their mark in the history of French song, such as Brigitte Fontaine, Jacques Higelin, Pierre Akendengue, Steve Lacy, David Mc Neil, Allain Leprest…. Reflecting Pierre Barouh’s varied tastes and the many people he met, Saravah has produced French chanson, jazz, rock, as well as experimental music.
