First recording of the new lineup: Marley is in full control (his name and portrait on the cover prove it), the I-Threes provide the backing vocals, and American Al Anderson is on guitar, heavily influenced by the blues. "No Woman No Cry" will become one of Bob Marley's most famous soft songs, but it stands out as an exception on this violent and committed album.
