If geography has an impact on music, it is fair to say that Vienna has had an enormous impact on the music of TOSCA as well as on the entire global downtempo and lounge scene. Throughout a 20-year career, the Austrian capital has greatly inspired Richard Dorfmeister (of Kruder & Dorfmeister) and Rupert Huber, who have transformed the class and elegance of Vienna into music that reflects it. Building on the 30,000 sales of the previous album No Hassle, TOSCA is back with ODEON, a sublime album that does not deny its downtempo heritage but brings a class and pop, world, soul and electronic melodies to it, especially the end of the album, which is strongly reminiscent of the work of NICOLAS JAAR. The first single will be "JAY JAY" and sung by JJ JONES. SARAH CARLIER joins them on the superb "WHAT IF". The limited edition comes in deluxe packaging.
