Spoon is one of the best American bands currently active. No more, no less! In twenty years of career and eight albums, the quartet led by Daniel Britt and Jim Eno has gone from the discreet fascination of indie circles to the list of the most respected bands in the United States, with sold-out tours. Propelled to the top of the charts with their masterpiece Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga in 2007, their first album entered the Top 10 in the US charts. With Hot Thoughts, Spoon once again works wonders thanks to Britt’s devilishly effective and terribly catchy songwriting: hooky guitars, raspy vocals, and unmatched instrumental richness. The Texans blend many things: rock, lo-fi pop in particular, but also a bit of soul for light-and-shadow moods that are their trademark. With legendary producer Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, MGMT, Tame Impala...) at the helm, the Texans.
