Since 2004, Belfast-based space, sludge and doom juggernauts, Slomatics, have consistently traversed the cosmic plains for dark riff-inspiration. The universe is vast, and Slomatics have never fallen short. Each album tells its own story, but every Slomatics release is filled with primal, bone-grinding heaviness in the form of fuzz-laden doom and psychedelic (stoner) rock, akin to an occult blend of Electric Wizard, YOB, and Conan; raw, smoky, powerful, dark, otherworldly, passionate, and mythical! Their 5th full-length studio album "Future Echo Returns" (2016) was described as an “earthbound beast, dense and to the point” and it addressed “humanity’s place and purpose in this magical little world of ours.”
