From his earliest works, Henry Laufer, aka Shlohmo, opened a new path in electronic music by blending hazy textures, moving melodies, and fractured rhythms, creating a sound that is both intimate and expansive. Bad Vibes laid the foundations of his lo-fi, slow-motion style, influencing an entire generation of West Coast producers, while The End cemented his status as a visionary with a cinematic universe blending chaos and calm, apocalyptic tension and moments of quiet reflection, created with drum machines, vintage synths, and improvised recording techniques. Shlohmo at the height of his art, blending emotion and sonic precision!
