La Cuna is one of the best highlights of producer Taylor Creed's career. By bringing together Ray Barretto, Tito Puente (timbales), and Joe Farrell (tenor and soprano saxophones, flute), one of the best Latin jazz albums was recorded. All the musicians involved have the opportunity to showcase some of their finest moments. The album also ventures into soul territory with an interpretation of Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise."
