More than four decades after its first appearance on their album Hot Space, Queen is releasing “Cool Cat” from 1982 on a limited edition 7-inch pink vinyl. Making its debut as an A-side, this marks the seventh single to be taken from the album. The B-side will be a brand-new, previously unreleased instrumental mix of the song. “Cool Cat” was co-written by bassist John Deacon and singer Freddie Mercury, and features a rare falsetto vocal performance from the flamboyant frontman.
