OPETH returns with a 14th album that is simply incredible! If the band's career has always been marked by splendid albums, this "The Last Will And Testament" is a pure masterpiece that is likely to leave a mark just as the founding albums of the Swedish combo did in their time. A concept album par excellence but with remarkable fluidity, this record takes the band even further in its musical exploration, digging deeper into high-class prog, the KING CRIMSON influences are felt like never before, while once again opening the door to the extreme (the powerful death vocals), to power and darkness. Guests like Ian Anderson (JETHRO TULL) immerse us even more into this incredibly rich musical world. To summarize this grand opus, one could say it is a perfect blend of several of their great albums like "Ghost Reveries," "Watershed," and "In Cauda Venenum." A future classic! A MUST LISTEN! For fans of KING CRIMSON, ANCIIENTS, NE OBLIVISCARIS, IHSAHN, ENSLAVED, RIVERSIDE.
