The Trip is the first solo album by N'Zeng, still little known, even today, under the name Sébastien Blanchon. It must be said that he has hidden behind his keen nose to sniff out the right projects (ex Le Peuple de l'Herbe, member of Entourloop). A keen nose indeed, but not a trumpet, and yet it is with this instrument that he begins. And reinvents it by giving it a subtle place לאורך this musical road trip called The Trip. A journey open to everyone, free of tolls and filters, except for the cinematic filter of this lover of soundtracks and trip hop. Beautiful images that pass before our eyes, and in our ears, the smooth voice of Charlotte Savary (Wax Tailor). An album, a very good trip for fans of Portishead, Gorillaz, and sharp scratches in the form of controlled skids.
