For its second release, after the first feverish self-titled album by SALÒ, the Berlin-based platform Kuboraum confirms its musical perspective, bringing together an eccentric collection of tracks from friends and family. Each artist was personally invited by the platform to write a piece of music inspired by the philosophical and aesthetic principles of Kuboraum. The idiosyncratic brand is known for its unconventional glasses or "masks" and a quick glance around its flagship store - a studio, exhibition space, and gallery in the center of Berlin - reveals a relationship between the artist and the community that is continually questioned and pushed into the unknown.
On this first compilation, Kuboraum invites like-minded non-conformists to engage in dialogue both with the brand and with each other, harnessing their personal expression to paint an open portrait that emphasizes the lysergic spectrum of Kuboraum's vision. There is no room for restrictions or genre boundaries, just observation, phrasing, and imagination.
