MSG is a legendary name. After two phenomenal albums in the form of Michael Schenker Fest, the true guitar hero returns to his roots. Recorded by what is probably the strongest lineup in his long history, Immortal is a coup de foudre, an album that is both fresh, bloodthirsty and agile. On vocals, it features talents such as Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Deep Purple), as well as his brother-in-arms, Michael Voss (Mad Max). Alongside Michael Schenker, we hear bassist Barry Sparks (Dokken), keyboardist Steve Mann, as well as the three drummers Bodo Schopf, Simon Phillips (ex-Toto) and Brian Tichy (ex-Whitesnake), and even Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) as a special guest. Michael Schenker and his guitar prove with Immortal that they are truly and completely invincible.
