Carried by prestigious guests, the album Sonars brings together around Maxime Dangles and Tommy Rizzitelli iconic voices: Oxmo Puccino (Continent plastique), Craig Walker, former singer of the bands Archive and Power of Dreams (on Bug and Delusion), as well as Aur (Reef). Conceived at the heart of the Art/Science project of the same name, Sonars draws its source from reflections on ecology and the transformation of aquatic fauna and flora. It was in Rimouski, on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, that the duo immersed themselves in the images and sensations transcribed on this record. The result is a set of breathless tracks, driven by a skilful blend of machines and drums, where the organic meets the climate emergency. Romain Da Silva Santos (Tape Source) enriches the album with his guitars, while photographer Jean Gaumy signs the cover with one of his shots.
