Jonathan Wilson was born in a small town in North Carolina and was educated in the tradition of Southern U.S. music, country and bluegrass, by a father who was a member of a rock band with whom he found himself jamming for long hours. From a young age, the American artist was exposed to what would later become a true vocation. A genius multi-instrumentalist, he reached new heights by touring for two years with former Pink Floyd member and rock legend Roger Waters. After these two years, Wilson missed his Southern roots and left Los Angeles to return home and the music that made him who he is today: a accomplished country artist representative of American music. It was in Nashville that he fell under the spell of this music again, and it is here that the songwriter composed and recorded his new album Dixie Blur with sophisticated melodies, an album that ultimately captures the very essence of Jonathan Wilson, incorporating all his experiences gained over the past years alongside legendary musicians.
