'Mind Games' is the fourth studio album by John Lennon. It was recorded at Record Plant Studios in New York during the summer of 1973. It is also the first album John produced himself without the help of Phil Spector. It was recorded while Lennon was facing difficulties with U.S. immigration and at the beginning of his 18-month separation from Yoko Ono (better known as The Lost week-end). Using the new 192-24 digital transfers of the original multitracks, Mind Games was remixed by Paul Hicks and Sam Gannon, who have won three Grammy Awards. These new mixes reveal breathtaking sonic depth, definition, and clarity.
