Unreleased for six decades, the legendary Tiberi Tapes document John Coltrane and his group in the early 1960s. Armed with a portable tape recorder, musician Frank Tiberi followed Coltrane to clubs in New York and Philadelphia, capturing extraordinary music night after night. Long surrounded by rumors and speculation, these tapes with their singular history are being released for the first time in November 2026, on the occasion of Coltrane’s centenary.
