Australian singer Jo Lawry has forged an impressive solo career with a worldwide fan base in a pop-rock register, after starting out in more intimate jazz circles. She thus spent nearly a decade playing and recording with Sting, working with Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel. The two albums she released as singer/songwriter/producer, Taking Picture (2015) and The Bathtub and the Sea (2017), were critically acclaimed. Today, more than 10 years after her last jazz album, Jo Lawry presents Acrobats, unmistakably returning to her first loves.
