You are immediately transported by ten tracks of a poetic pop-electronic odyssey. Evadney's sensational voice, a true guiding thread, skillfully weaves together piano, strings, harp, catchy electronic elements, and melancholic textures that are almost rhythmless. After the release of three EPs on Black Acre, a remix by I.JORDAN, a spot on Jamz Supernova's Ones To Watch list on BBC Radio, a selection for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Festival, and the creation of an audiovisual live show presented in the UK and Shanghai, Evadney's debut album, It's Dreaming, seems well on its way to establishing her as a bold and innovative voice in the British music scene. It immerses us in a narrative and melancholic pop universe. Themes of sexuality, love, family, and a spiritual quest are at the heart of this cinematic work. "I ask myself, and I invite everyone to ask themselves: Where is your love? What does it mean to you? What are your limits and why?" – Evadney. On Plie, Evadney's striking narrative unfolds fluidly in a surreal conversation with an angel who teaches her to dance. Qualia is an ode to the harp dedicated to her parents and their enslaved ancestors, while Leathered & Laced and Good Lord are stories of breathtaking beauty and sincerity, recounting Evadney's struggle to rise from her darkest moments, marked by despair and addiction.
