The grand return of the cult band Dexys Midnight Runners. Their first album released since 1985, Dexys Midnight Runners unveils LOVE, a bright and deeply personal album that could mark the final chapter of their discography. Driven by Kevin Rowland's sincere writing, the record brings together stories of family, friendship, transmission, and romantic relationships, inspired by moments experienced throughout his life. After more than forty years of career, Dexys Midnight Runners transcends the codes of traditional love songs to explore all forms of attachment that shape a life. Enhanced by the arrangements of his loyal collaborators and produced by David Holmes, LOVE blends emotion, elegance, and narrative depth. A touching and universal work that accurately celebrates the bonds that shape us.
