LP edition "Black Smoke". The album released in 2020. 'The Way It Ends' is a real gem that will propel Currents into the highest spheres of Metalcore. The Connecticut combo continues on its momentum with a recipe that works: riffs, breakdowns, and plenty of hits. With 'The Way It Ends', Currents affirmed its sonic imprint while exploring new facets. This is the case, for example, with the construction of "Kill The Ache" and the use of keyboard layers on this track, for example, or the use of synth on the breakdown of "Let Me Leave". The latter is also reminiscent of what Chris Wiseman's second band, Shadow Of Intent, offers.
