CRYPTIC SHIFT returns with Overspace & Supertime, an ambitious follow-up to their acclaimed debut album Visitations From Enceladus (2020). Pushing their fusion of technical and progressive death/thrash even further, the band develops a futuristic extreme sound they call “Phenomenal Technological Astrodeath.” The album combines heightened technical precision with an immersive sci-fi universe, following the protagonist through alternate dimensions populated by ever stranger adventures and encounters. Produced by Jack Helliwell, mastered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric, My Dying Bride) and featuring striking artwork by Jesse Jacobi, Overspace & Supertime offers fans of technical metal and science fiction a total cosmic experience, balancing bold storytelling and musical intensity.
