Inspired by the dark and cinematic atmospheres of David Lynch, as well as the pop and luminous colors of Shame, Basic Partner sows confusion between the heavy and the gentle, like a relationship between two partners. With sounds that blend the melancholy of post-punk and the liveliness of modern pop, the group creates a sonic universe around electronic textures and incisive riffs, revealing the tensions and complexities of modern life.
