Barry, this is Violaine Gillibert, actress and author who moves between music and cinema, on unconventional paths. With FACES, her second album, Barry reveals for the first time her own lyrics. Fragments of intimacy and fiction where the voice, always embodied, explores memory, feelings, and the multiple faces of oneself. A universe where music is written like a film, where the song is experienced like a close-up. It's a kaleidoscopic album with different facets, with different faces. Faces. It’s also an unprecedented concept: inviting film composers to each sign a track. As if to construct a vast imaginary soundtrack. Between Franco-Lebanese Gabriel Yared and Italian Nicola Tescari, two cutting-edge composers, Audrey Ismaël and Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen, are joined by Martin Rappeneau, Olivier Marguerit, Emmanuel d'Orlando, Eric Neveux, Yan Wagner.
