Skyforger simply follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, without being an exact copy either. Once again, we find this synthesis of the different styles explored in the past, and which made the band successful, such as atmospheric metal, 70s rock, or current death metal. Skyforger is powerful and varied, with folk flourishes, but above all it is very melodic thanks to its choruses, which will sweep you away on first listen. AMORPHIS succeeds in bringing together the band’s old fans as well as new ones, with a magnificent album for an impeccable career!
