WALLS OF JERICHO remains true to the values and sound that forged their legacy. From the very first track, “True Til’ Death”, the band hits hard and confirms the triumph of their return with palpable aggression: charismatic singer Candace Buckingham immediately captivates listeners with her impressive growls. The discordant violence of tracks like “The Ascent” and “Untouchable” taps into something truly primal, while more thrash-driven songs like “The Flame” and “Agency” take off at full speed, surging with a multitude of powerful riffs and solos. Lyrically, the band fans the flames of discontent with tracks such as “Agency”, “Borrowed Ground” and “Last Judgement”. The album also features a series of top-tier guests, including Randy Blythe of Lamb of God on “Broken Mouths Can't Speak” and Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on “Humanity”. After even more delicious violence and a slow build with “A Brighter Fire”, “The Reckoning” closes the album with epic, catastrophic energy, punctuated by one of the most crushing breakdowns on the album, ready to send a few unfortunate spectators to the dentist. For fans of BORN FROM PAIN, ALL FOR NOTHING, HATEBREED, SWORN ENEMY, TERROR.
