Founded in 2019 during a party at the legendary Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, VIOLET aims to revive the exuberance of the 80s, a decade rich in catchy melodies and hits with an unmistakable sound. With their debut album “Illusions”, released in 2022 and hailed by fans and the press as the best dive into the 80s, this young band from the Stuttgart region immediately made its mark on the music scene. Two years after this first release, which also caused a sensation in Japan and the United States, their highly anticipated second album, “Mysteria”, was released at the end of 2024. It climbed to 13th place in the German rock and metal charts. The single “Angelina” entered the iTunes rock charts in Switzerland and Sweden, an achievement repeated by the following single, “Arms Around”. It therefore makes perfect sense for VIOLET to release their new EP, Silhouettes, on CD, vinyl and in digital format in 2026. The band offers us three previously unreleased 80s anthems across eight tracks. “Calling For You”, one of their successful singles, already available as a download but not yet in physical format, is featured on the album. The three live tracks were recorded during the memorable launch party for “Mysteria” in December 2024. The demo of “Fall In Love” is a very early and completely different version of the track “I Don't Want To Fall In Love” from the album “Mysteria”.
