Vijay Iyer presents Uneasy, bringing together Tyshawn Sorey and Linda May Han Oh, two major figures in contemporary creative music, in a powerful new trio. Uneasy’s repertoire, recorded in 2019 at Oktaven Audio Studio, includes a series of original pieces composed by Iyer over a period of 20 years, as well as a cover of Gerri Allen’s theme Drummer’s Song and a radical reconstruction of Cole Porter’s legendary standard Night and Day.
