'Angles' is the first album by the band since 'First Impressions of Earth' in 2006 and it marks a return to the spontaneity of their early albums, 'Is This It' (2001) and 'Room On Fire' (2003). In 2010, the band hit the road again and headlined the biggest festivals in the United States and the United Kingdom such as the Isle of Wight Festival, Lollapalooza, Hurricane Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Rockness, Outside Lands, and Austin City Limits. The Chicago Time Out describes their performance at Lollapalooza as "the best concert I've attended since I started covering Lollapalooza."
