The SteelDrivers celebrate their 20 years with Outrun, a self-produced album blending bluegrass, rock, soul, blues and Americana, in tribute to Mike Henderson. The SteelDrivers celebrate their 20th anniversary with their seventh studio album Outrun, released via Sun Records. This Nashville-based bluegrass band defies the genre’s traditions while redefining it for future generations, skillfully incorporating rock, soul, blues and Americana. “We wanted to create a timeless album, musically connected to our past, and pay tribute to our founding member, Mike Henderson, who passed away in 2023.” The band self-produced the album at Playloud Studio.
