TEXTURES - The dazzling return of the pioneers of modern progressive metal. Dutch progressive metal giants TEXTURES make their big return on the Kscope label with "Genotype", their first new album in six years. Considered the conceptual counterpart to "Phenotype" (2016), this album marks a true rebirth: eight new tracks written and self-produced, blending technical prowess with melodic power. Mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), "Genotype" explores themes of authenticity and resilience, giving a voice to introverted minds and outsider souls. Driven by the singles "Closer To The Unknown", "At The Edge Of Winter" (featuring Charlotte Wessels) and "Vanishing Twin", the album reaffirms everything that made the band’s reputation on the international scene. After leaving their mark on Europe’s biggest festivals and winning over audiences worldwide, TEXTURES are set to hit the road again in 2026 for a European tour alongside Jinjer.
