Take two twin sisters from Toronto, experimental music, and a touch of pop art, and you get TASSEOMANCY, a wonderful band releasing their first album on Bella Union: Do Easy. An anthem for a generation that is told that nothing is possible anymore, Do Easy is an album that honors free thinkers. The synths are soft and the harmonies hypnotic for a delightfully successful ensemble, with sound characteristics typical of experimental dream-pop. With Do Easy, the musical and visual project of Sari and Romy Lightman (former members of the cold-wave band Austra) is ready to make us float in a cloud of happiness.
