Written by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, when they were only 19 and 16 respectively, Trixies is a concept album born from imagination and nostalgia. Inspired by a fictional club imagined in the early 1970s and supposed to exist in the "future" (the 1980s), the album evokes a universe reminiscent of the speakeasies of the 1920s or 1930s - glamorous, smoky, and populated by colorful characters.
