Nobody will contest the importance of this American group, the first multiracial group combining the energy of soul funk and 70's rock! At the end of the 60s, this energetic combo sets fire wherever it performs. If rock had the MC5 as a political banner, US soul had as its dissenting spokesperson Sly & The Family Stone. Legacy Recordings is therefore pleased to offer you "Higher," a 4 CD box set of 77 tracks including 18 unreleased ones. This box set is enriched with a 100-page booklet including many previously unseen photos.
