SCH, these three letters may not mean anything to you for now, and yet... SCH, the rookie from the south of France, fully intends to make a name for himself in French rap. Lacrim was not mistaken, giving him a prime spot on Ripro. Kaaris wasn’t either, featuring him on his latest mixtape, Double Fuck. SCH, everyone is talking about him, everyone wants him. Before a first album he hopes to release next year, SCH drops, like an ID card during a tense check, A7, on Def Jam, a mixtape packed with tracks from Guilty, a Toulouse beatmaker, and Kore, and features from Sadek and Lacrim. Recorded in Paris, in one month, ten hours a day in the booth, spitting out his guts and his strikingly vivid prose. Because SCH is above all this ability to rise by shaking up reality, he talks about what makes a man, he still fantasizes about weapons, drugs, money, delinquency, sun and darkness, an uncertain future and a burning past, but he does it in his own style, a dazzling mix of visceral poetry and shifting scenes. Raw rhymes, a flow “straight out of Hell,” a rapper who highlights his originality both in his rap and in his style.
