For his 6th solo album, Rohff chose La cuenta as the title. Rohff himself gives us the meaning of La cuenta: "If I decided to call this album 'La cuenta' it's because, wherever we eat, La cuenta has to be paid and it's always steep. Add up the experiences, the vices, the disappointments, the deaths, the excesses, the sounds, the flows, the punchlines, the troubles, the misfortunes, the betrayals, the thrills, the girls, the failures, the enemies, the bars, the taxes, the brothers, the trips, the bills, the lawyers, the bail, this cuenta will have to be paid... and in cash suits me." The album was recorded in France, in Toulouse, then Rohff went to Miami to mix La cuenta with Lu Diaz, Dj Khaled's engineer.
