Marching in the footsteps of Hendrix, Robin Trower (former guitarist of Procol Harum) also delivered very beautiful Blues albums imbued with Hard Rock and psychedelia starting in 1973 (Twice Removed From Yesterday, Bridge Of Sighs, For Earth Below, Long Misty Days...). These are now gathered in the box set A Tale untold: The Chrysalis Years (1973-1976). Combined with the voice of singer James Dewar, Trower's guitar alternates in these works between cutting riffs and outstanding distortions (Day Of The Eagle, Shame the Devil...). This box set also includes B-sides, edited versions, and an unreleased track.
