With three singles and her first #1 album at the top this year, RITA ORA spent 2012 occupying the top spots of the UK charts full-time. The young protégé of Jay Z, signed to his Roc Nation label, was the only artist of the year to score three consecutive #1 singles with 'Hot Right Now', 'R.I.P' and 'How We Do (Party)' Rita Ora has all the makings of a diva, and the press understood that well. Dozens of paparazzi were already fighting over the slightest photo of Rita in Cannes last June. And her stop in Paris in October for a one-off showcase at VIP Room, and the hundreds of fans who had been waiting for hours, clearly showed that France, like England, also holds a bright future for Rita Ora. Rita Ora, who will soon be a very big star here too.
