'THREAD', their new album is produced by Matt Hyde (Deftones, Monster Magnet, Parkway Drive...) and mixed by Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Avatar, Leonard Cohen...). Like the first single, 'Deathwish', the guitars are always pure, powerful ('Clarity', 'Evil Like You') and sometimes even lean towards the Foo Fighters. They also give way to more airy atmospheres ('Left Dead Over', 'Rose') that are not far from recalling those of the 4 from Liverpool ('Stealing Life'). The ensemble is of course dominated by the vocal performances of Mike Protich, who, in addition to being a stage beast, confirms his position as a formidable 'performer' giving depth and a good dose of emotion to each track... France discovered Red Sun Rising at the end of 2016 with the late release of the album 'Polyester Zeal', then on the occasion of 2 impressive live performances: one in Paris as a 'special guest' of Skillet, and then at the Download festival in June 2017. In the USA, this first album generated over 28 million streams. Their videos have accumulated nearly 14 million views and two singles 'The Otherside' & 'Emotionless' reached number 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts! Here, even though the success is still limited, this record has generated many good reviews in magazines and specialized sites (MyRock, Metal Obs, Guitar Part, Music Waves, Rock Ur Life, LGR, United Rock Nations, Rock Hard...)
