Psycroptic, the Tasmanian band celebrating its 15th anniversary, is back with a new and 5th album, the first with Prosthetic Records, after two highly acclaimed albums with Nuclear Blast. Psycroptic is a true punch in the jaw for fans of true death metal and bridges the legends of the genre, from Chuck Shuldiner of Death to Decapitated, all while seeking to groove. Psycroptic has toured all over the world alongside the biggest names in death: Cannibal Corpse, Decapitated, Obituary, Carcass, Nile, Aborted, Suffocation, Vader... Max Cavalera even posed with the band's t-shirts, closing the loop on youthful influences, with Sepultura at the forefront! Psycroptic is definitely on its way to becoming one of the major bands in this scene.
