Recruited by Epic/CBS after achieving great success with small independent labels, Prong would create a masterpiece of modern metal with Mark Dodson, producer of Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies. It is time to honor the New York power trio composed of guitarist/singer Tommy Victor, bassist Mike Kirkland, and drummer Ted Parsons with the creation of 'Beg To Differ', for having paved the sacred ground and directed the course that heavy music would inevitably take for the rest of the 90s. From the opening track of the album "For Dear Life," "Steady Decline," "Lost and Found," "Prime Cut," "Take it in Hand" to the inimitable "Your Fear," it was thrash metal from a non-thrash metal perspective.
